Technical Advice about 'Notebooks'

The ongoing saga of my struggle with my computer 'servants' has led me down some frustrating if informative paths. I decided to share my meagre store of knowledge with any one who might be interested in avoiding some of the 'issues' I have been forced to face. I therefore created a 'Technical Advice' page. You will find the link to the site on the left. I doubt I will write many posts for the site as my technical expertise is insignificant at best. On the other hand, the problem that I describe and the solution offered may be of value to many fellow owners of laptops, aka notebook computers.
